Taste the RISO rainbow! 

Fall in love with RISO, aka the Risograph Duplicator from the RISO Kagaku company.

In this group workshops students will learn to set up artwork for printing and change RISO color drums. Using a computer and the RISO scanner bed, make sample prints as a group. Feel free to bring sketchbooks or photos.

This workshop serves as a tutorial to gain access to Open Studio sessions.

This is not your typical print class.
Each session = a creative challenge.
You’ll draw random prompts, techniques, and styles — then make two prints using RISO inks and a mix of media.

It’s messy, it’s fun, it’s where breakthroughs happen. 💡

We will be making 2+ prints every meetup using a series of constraints to spark creativity. Parameters to help inform our constraints will be random number generators, the knight's tour, astrology, and tarot.Bring any additional mediums, pens, pencils, ect you'd like to use for your personal use.
